OUR LUMISTONE TRANSLUCENT CONCRETE
OUR HISTORY
Our team has worked on the integration of electroluminescent products within the material itself.
From this research was born Luminstone :
- One concrete unique, translucent able to let in natural light.
Lumistone is a new design material, made up of optical fiber and of Ultra High Performance concrete, made with a cement whose composition gives rise to a patent.
Fiber optics allow light to pass through matter.
This new material translucent maybe staged by natural or artificial light, which creates spectacular effects.
Certified and proven, the technology of our translucent concrete has intrinsic qualities that allow it to be used and bring new benefits to users in many fields of application: construction, architecture, design of objects and furniture, decoration... Also good both outdoors and indoors.
Imagination has no limits, to the delight of designers and their clients.
Customization of concrete:
- Translucency : we can modify the diameter and the quantity of fibers for a rendering more or less transparent.
- Grounds : we can create transparency on logos, patterns inserted in concrete.

TECHNICAL DATA
The cement that composes Lumistone is resistant to compression and abrasion due to the good homogeneity of its components. Bending and tensile stresses are almost identical to the characteristics of wood, thanks to the balance between aggregates and synthetic fibers.
COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH* :
- 200kg /cm2 at 24 hours
- 350kg /cm2 at 28 days
BENDING STRENGTH:
- 14 days, 102 kg/cm2
- 28 days, 115kg/cm2
TENSILE STRENGTH :
- 14 days, 40 kg/cm2
- 28 days, 115kg/cm2
ABRASION RESISTANCE:
- Average wear in % : 0.43
- Average penetration (mm) : 0.42

CHARACTERISTICS
Single panels, creation of curves possible.
Dimensions of your choice: max: 3000 x 650 x 30 mm
Colour: gray (natural concrete), white, other colors on request.
Fiber optics: max. 270,000 fibers / m2
Possible diameter from 0.5 mm to 2 mm.
All common operations for the concrete treatment are possible: sawing, grinding, sanding, drilling, drilling, polishing, thus allowing several types of finishes.
